MUOB Creators Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how MUOB Creators (“MUOB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal data of individuals (“you,” “your,” or “user”) who access or use our websites, online community, and related applications (collectively, the “Community”). Your use of the Community is also subject to our Terms of Service.

For UK GDPR and EU GDPR, MUOB is the data controller of your personal data.
We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes materially affect your rights or how we use your data, we will provide additional notice (e.g., email or in-app message). The “Last Updated” date shows the latest version.
Account & Profile: name, email, password, social handles, bio, images.
Communications: messages sent to MUOB or other members, support requests, surveys.
Content: photos, videos, posts, or deliverables uploaded to the Community.
Payments: subscription details and transaction metadata (handled by Stripe). MUOB does not store full card details.
Device & Usage: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, OS, pages visited, links clicked, session times, approximate geolocation.
Cookies & Similar Tech: session cookies (expire when browser closes), persistent cookies (remain until deleted), pixels and analytics tools. See Section 11 (Cookies).
Connected Accounts: if you link social accounts, we receive profile details according to your settings.
Vendors: analytics, payment processors, hosting, and communication platforms.
Hotels: when you participate in a stay, MUOB may collect and share relevant data (profile info, deliverables, and analytics) with the host hotel.
MUOB does not knowingly collect sensitive categories of data (e.g., health, biometric, political opinions, religious beliefs). Please do not submit such data through the Community.
We process personal data for the following purposes and legal bases:

MUOB may use automated tools to help match creators with hotels, review applications, or tailor recommendations. These processes are designed to support efficiency and fairness. You have the right to:
request human review of significant automated decisions,
express your point of view, and
contest the decision.

CircleCo, Inc. (community platform)
Stripe, Inc. (payments)
Hosting, analytics, and communication vendors
Hotels/Partners: when you accept a stay, MUOB may share creator profile info, deliverables, and relevant analytics with the host hotel.
Other Members: content you post may be visible to other members or public depending on your settings.
Legal/Compliance: to comply with law or lawful requests.
Business Transfers: in the event of a merger, sale, or acquisition.
With Consent: where you direct us to share data.
We do not sell personal data.
MUOB may monitor, review, and remove content in line with our Terms of Service and community standards. This moderation activity, including related metadata, may be logged for audit and security purposes.
We may transfer your data outside the UK/EEA (e.g., to the United States for Circle and Stripe). Where we do, we use safeguards such as:
EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs),
UK Addendum or International Data Transfer Agreement,
Supplementary security measures where needed.
By using the Community, you consent to such transfers.
We retain personal data only as long as needed:

If MUOB becomes aware of a data breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you without undue delay and, where legally required, notify regulators.
We use essential, functional, and analytics cookies. A cookie banner lets you accept all, reject non-essential, or manage preferences. You can also control cookies in your browser. Blocking cookies may affect functionality.

Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send service-related notices.
We use technical and organisational measures (encryption, access controls, limited retention) to protect personal data. No system is 100% secure.
The Community is not intended for users under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe we hold such data, contact us and we will delete it.
The Community may include social sharing and links to third-party sites. Your use of those services is governed by their privacy policies. MUOB is not responsible for their practices.
We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
